Expresión Escrita A1-A2 is an essential resource for helping students overcome specific problems relating to written expression.

It can be used either in the classroom to supplement an existing Spanish language manual, or outside the classroom during independent study.

The book comprises fifteen units, which are divided into five blocks. Each unit presents the following structure:

- 'Página de apertura': This outlines the objectives and contents of the unit.

- 'Modelos a seguir': This includes various examples of the language being used in context, thus enabling learners to recognise and familiarise themselves with different types of text.

- 'Banco de palabras': This presents a list of vocabulary that learners may find useful.

- 'Algo de gramática': This section includes a series of exercises that will allow learners to revise and consolidate their understanding of the grammar contents presented in the unit.

- 'Fíjate y responde': This presents reading comprehension exercises that will require students to practise their written skills.

- 'Ahora tú tienes la palabra': This section will enable learners to put into practice the contents presented over the course of the unit.

At the end of each block, there is a section dedicated to spelling, as well as a self-assessment section (so that learners can review their progress).
