A collection of enjoyable stories written for children learning Spanish. The series is divided into four learning stages, identified by different colours: red, orange, blue and green. The stories are aimed at a young audience between 8 and 12 years old. Each story is divided into short chapters and accompanied by colourful illustrations to keep children interested. Activities are included to further explore the text at all stages before, during and after reading.

An appendix is included with the answer keys and suggestions for further exercises. These books are now available with a CD (a recording of the text for listening comprehension skills).

The stories used in this colourful series are amusing and informative - providing children with a sound educational background as well as an introduction to some aspects of culture and civilizaton. The series follows the CEFR levels and would constitute a useful reading complement to any Spanish language course for children.
