Each volume of this series of activity books consists of 12 units divided into four different pedagogical and inter-related sections. There is a "communicative" section which works on developing basic functional language; a "grammar" section which explores the main linguistic contents of communication; a third section which focuses on Spanish sounds in different contexts and which introduces students to graded texts and a final "activity" section which develops written expression through a series of writing tasks.

All units tackle the key problem areas faced by foreign learners of Spanish, namely with regard to spelling, accentuation and punctuation. This collection also covers the key topics outlined in the curricular programme of the "Instituto Cervantes".
