This anthology for students of Spanish, produced in association with the Spanish Ministry of Culture, gathers together a panorama of views of different European countries, as seen by 47 famous and less well-known Spanish writers and poets of the 19th and 20th centuries. The texts, which are unabridged and graded according to difficulty, are between a few lines and 2 pages in length. Each is accompanied by a glossary explaining less familiar vocabulary. A "bio-bibliography" giving details of the writers' works and literary environment, and suggestions for class exploitation of the texts, complete the book.
