Luciana Littizzetto è una figura di culto della comicità italiana. Ha lavorato in radio, cinema e televisione. Attualmente è ospite fissa a 'Che tempo che fa' programma di Rai 3 condotto da Fabio Fazio. Ha pubblicato tra gli altri La Jolanda Furiosa e i Dolori del giovane Walter. È stata con Fabio Fazio la presentatrice dell'ultima edizione del Festival di Sanremo.


Luca Bianchini autore Mondadori, voce di Radio2, scrive su Repubblica e ha un blog su Vanity Fair. È appena uscito il suo nuovo romanzo Io che amo solo te.

Presentation of French teaching resources from PUG

Emmanuelle Vouriot and Sylvie Bigot from Presses Universitaires de Grenoble will present their latest and most popular resources for French language teaching, focussing on the following titles:

À propos: a language learning course for adolescents and adults (levels A1, A2 and B1).

Bulles de France: a new culture and civilisation coursebook which comes in the fun form of 42 short comics and incorporates French language learning and teaching

Les Outils malins du FLE: a collection of practical guides for teachers containing a variety of activities for classroom use.

The publishers will answer your questions after the presentation and refreshments will be provided.

An Evening of Russian Language

You are warmly invited to join us for the launch of a new Russian language textbook by Ignaty Dyakov at The European Bookshop on 13th June 7-9pm.

The Story Sensation - Рассказ-сенсация

The Story Sensation: for learners of the Russian language (and not only for Guadeloupians!) by Ignaty Dyakov is a brand new textbook for learning Russian.

Based around an engaging and captivating detective story set on the island of Guadeloupe, this innovative textbook aids the process of studying Russian making it fun and more bearable for adult learners! On the night Ignaty will present his new book, share tips on learning Russian and talk about his experience of teaching Russian.

5% of all proceeds go to SOS Children's Villages orphanage in the Leningrad region, Russia.

Drinks and veggie snacks will be provided.

A conference and exhibition for language teachers organised by the London Branch of ALL and Linguascope. The theme for the 2013 edition is "Keeping it real", focussing on the practical use of language in the real world.

Language Education & Partnerships (LEAP) in collaboration with the Italian Bookshop & European Bookshop, are pleased to present a hands-on workshop that explores a number of‘ready- made’activities to be deployed in your language teaching, with an emphasis on learner engagement.
The team from LEAP will also talk to attendees about how they can secure funding to attend European CPD training courses.
